Originally from the picturesque country of Slovenia, Martin and Suzana are a couple with a deep love for the sea, adventure, and connecting with people from around the world. Their life together is built on shared passions—sailing, cooking, traveling, and creating meaningful guest experiences.
Captain Martin
Captain Martin began his maritime career on sailboats and quickly expanded his experience to include yachts and catamarans across various oceans. With over 15 years of professional sailing behind him, Martin holds several respected international certifications:
RYA Yachtmaster Offshore
STCW Basic Safety Training
DSD (Dive Systems Design)
VHF Marine Radio License
His calm, cheerful demeanor and warm approach make guests feel safe, relaxed, and welcome from the moment they step on board. Martin’s previous background in engineering gives him the technical confidence to manage the yacht with precision and care, ensuring smooth and stress-free charters.
Outside of sailing, Martin enjoys freediving and swimming—his favorite way to immerse himself in the magic of the ocean. He shares:

Chef & First Mate Suzana.
Suzana brings boundless energy, creativity, and heart to the galley and every corner of the yacht. As the onboard chef and first mate, she delights guests with colorful, balanced meals inspired by her love of Mediterranean cuisine and international flavors.
Her culinary journey began in her mother’s kitchen and has continued through self-study, hands-on experience, and formal cooking courses. Every dish she creates reflects her attention to detail, visual sense, and passion for pleasing the senses.
Suzana is also certified in STCW and VHF, and her experience in the hospitality industry has given her a deep understanding of what makes guests feel truly cared for. Her thoughtful approach, genuine warmth, and professionalism consistently receive glowing feedback from those who sail with her.

I had been dreaming about this boat tip for three years after learning about it from a blogger (shout out to Livinginyellow). I truthfully never expected we would be able to go…but man oh man….I’m so glad we researched it and booked it!
This trip was perfect from the moment we met our lovely crew (Martine and Suzanne
) and boarded the boat. Their professionalism regarding boat safety and hospitality put us in a great place to begin our week. The boat is perfection with good size quarters, private bathrooms and sooo much space to lounge and either be together or find some solitude. I truthfully was amazed at the space.
We did it ALL and soaked up every ounce of the experience. We were catered to with amazing meals and exciting experiences. Capt Martine’s answer to every request was some version of “sure..let’s do it”!. He navigated us all through the Xumas and showed us all the sites and beauty of the islands!
I was so sad to see the trip end but we will be back!!
